Pest Protect

I had a pest problem. You name it I had it. From rodents to spiders. I felt like I was living outdoors, inside my home. I would often wake up to rats in my kitchen and spiders in my bathroom. I tried all the store remedies; spray repellents, poison pellets, traps. Yes, occasionally I would get one but that didn’t make the problem go away. In fact, it made it worse. I had a rat eat poison and die inside my wall… The smell was so bad that I had to cut the drywall open to extract the dead rat. When I finally got to it, it was being consumed by ants that had made its way into the house through the floorboards.

I’d had enough, I gave in and called an exterminator. When he came out, I was given a quote that literally made my mouth drop.

There had to be a better solution I thought to myself. I started doing some research. I asked myself “how do farms deal with their rodent problems?” It turns out that many use harmful pesticides, but a few use something called ultrasonic high-frequency sounds. They are designed to repel, not injure or kill household pests, such as rodents and spiders. This method has been proven highly effective, but many farmers still haven’t adopted it due to cost and technical restrictions associated with this type of setup.
